That's Life

Well, I know it has taken a while for me to get back to my blog, but I guess that's life. I just don't spend a lot of time on the computer. Work continues and it keeps me busy as it does everyone. Altho' I have spent time on the phone talking to family and friends. It is always good to hear the voices of Loved Ones. I get a kick out of Caleb and Ruby when I talk to them. Caleb loves to tell me about Gordon (one of his trains). They were here for a visit last weekend. Caleb is so much like his Dad. Joshua is growing, he bite my finger, it is amazing how sharp two little teeth can be. Then talking to Ruby, she asks Nanny, 'what doing?' and before you can reply she is gone. They are busy "little" people, and oh so precious. How I wish we could all be together in one place. But 'That's Life."

A Visit

Well, Roland & I traveled to Calgary to see Berkley, Brendan, Debbie and of course our "little" Granddaughter Ruby. The weather was beautiful. The Visit was great. Ruby is growing like a little weed and is talking a mile a minute. (I think she gets that from her daddy.)
It was good to see some of our friends and family. I know we didn't see everyone but time was limited. It was different going back. It is just not the same, you know you are a 'visitor', and it is just not home anymore. But nonetheless we had fun. Debbie, Brendan and I had "Adventures in Night Driving". Funny story, I am sure you will read about it in Brendan's blog someday.
